Jeffrey B. Mulhall

President

Jeffrey B. Mulhall, President, has continued his family’s tradition of personal involvement in the company since 1992, when he succeeded his father, William F. Mulhall, who bought the business in 1943.  He has spent the past 29 years expanding the business’ traditional educational market to include healthcare, public/academic libraries, multi-family housing and public/sports seating throughout New York. He also has established a successful partnership for educational and healthcare furnishings in the Middle East based out of Doha, Qatar.

Mr. Mulhall’s knowledge of public contract management is enhanced by his professional legal background, having worked nine years as a successful Government Contract attorney in Washington DC and New York.

Joan Jesberger

Seating Sales Coordinator

Joan Jesberger, Seating Sales Coordinator, has been with McHugh for over 30 years. She administers all of the fixed seating projects and her knowledge of Irwin Seating’s vast offerings is unmatched in the area and is quite extensive. Through the years, she has developed excellent long-standing relationships with architects, construction managers, and education facilities. Joan’s warm and friendly ways have long been the face of our organization. She is a true leader and asset to our team.

Larry VandeWater

Educational Sales Leader

Larry VandeWater, Educational Sales Leader, has been with McHugh 19 years. The relationship started with the South Side Middle School in Rockville Centre where he was Principal when the school purchased Irwin Seating Marquee chairs for the auditorium and he has been a strong advocate ever since.

Larry’s sales focus is to promote and sell McHugh Furnishings products; maintains relationships with school districts & architectural firm personnel; Assist in researching, creating and maintaining a list of school district building bonds; assists with managing auditorium seating projects

But Larry’s first interest is the promotion of Irwin Seating’s premium fixed seating offerings and there is nobody better in our market for fixed seating- and the humor he brings to his daily interactions is most appreciated.

Bill Mulhall

NYC Seating Sales Leader/Seating Project Manager

Bill has worked for McHugh for the past 15+ years. He is currently the Sales/Estimator /Project Manager for Telescopic Seating Division.in addition he was recently named the sales leader for the NYC markets for our Irwin Seating products. He is also the Project Manager for the Outdoor Bleachers and Fixed Seating Division. He has been in these current positions for the past 5 years.

His responsibilities include working with architects and clients on upcoming projects, estimating, coordinating deliveries and installations with CM/GC. He will work with his clients to get field dimensions and is diligent to make sure projects are completed within the architect’s/client’s schedule. He is also involved in tracking School Districts capital bond improvements and participating in school trade shows. He is always hands on and makes it a priority to attend all on site project management meetings. To keep up with all the innovations in the industry to get the best product for his clients Bill visits with our Telescopic/Fixed Seating manufacturer’s headquarters on a regular basis.

Michael Potthoff

Director of Casework/Lockers/Millwork Estimating & Sales

Michael is starting his sixth year with McHugh after many years of commercial construction experience.

Michael leads the Casework/Millwork/Locker/Storage System team; effectively handling multiple projects from concept to completion in the educational, healthcare, and multifamily housing markets. In this role, he leads all sales, production, and project management activities for this product group.

Michael’s sales enthusiasm and project management determination makes him a popular member of both our team and our customer group. This

Michael holds a BA degree from St. Joseph’s College.

Joanne Skinner

Sales/Project Coordinator

With over 20 years’ experience in the industry, Joanne brings extensive knowledge of library & loose (classroom & office) furniture plus dormitory furnishings on various State & National contracts. Oversees these types of projects from beginning to end. As Sales Coordinator, Joanne is responsible for funneling all project originations to the appropriate McHugh team member. Also coordinates all company marketing and sales efforts. Assists in the daily administrative aspect of office. Rejoined McHugh 4 years ago; had worked previously for McHugh for 10 years.

Joanne’s industry knowledge, commitment to perfection, and her attention customer satisfaction leads her to many repeat customers who greatly appreciate knowing Joanne will do whatever it takes to finish all of her jobs successfully.

Timothy Almeida

Sales Representative -MD, DC, VA

Former Public-School Director of Facilities with twenty-five years’ experience; overseeing daily operations of K-12 facility. Started in trades as apprentice carpenter at age fourteen and opened residential contracting firm at age eighteen. Transitioned business to high end residential and commercial work over twenty-year span, including work as a journeyman carpenter specializing as a casework and architectural mill-work installer.

At McHugh, Tim has two roles: business development in MD/DC/VA; as well as furthering our working relationships with the Long Island and Westchester school administration ranks. Tim has been a great and knowledgeable addition to our team.

Kim Coffey

Estimating/Production Coordinator

Joined McHugh Furnishings in 2018 bringing over 25 years’ experience in the residential and commercial design and construction industry.

Holds an Architectural degree from NYIT.

Efficiently handles multiple projects from concept phase to completion. Estimating, project management, scheduling, shop drawing review and field coordination. She is ultimately responsible for all the production details found in our Casework/Millwork/Locker team. Kim has brought architectural background and commitment to project details to our team and it is appreciated by customer base as we continue to finish and complete each intricate casework/Millwork job on time and in accordance with all project plans and specifications.

Maureen Scott

Project Accounting

Joined McHugh almost 20 years ago and is responsible for processing contracts, insurance, subcontracts, change orders, A/P, A/R, and maintain oversight of the profitability for each contract through all phases of performance. Maureen’s extensive construction accounting background prior to joining McHugh enables her to maintain thorough oversight and attention to all financial details in all phases of our projects. Her attention to detail helps make McHugh a success

Robert Brooks

Field Super/Project Manager

Robert is a carpenter and has over 35 years’ experience in all types of construction. He is McHugh’s ‘eyes & ears’ for all of our projects, as he oversees our deliveries and installations. Robert has been affiliated with McHugh for over 12 years. He knows the industry very well. Robert possesses an OSHA 30 card and is currently working toward the 62-hour Site Super Certificate. He offers solutions to any problem that may arise, even rolling up his sleeves, if necessary, to make sure the project continues to move forward towards a successful completion. No job is too small or too big for him to handle and no task on a job site will ever be left by Robert unfinished. Our customers appreciate his commitment to finish all projects on a high note. McHugh is fortunate to have him.

John Waiser

John Waiser joined McHugh in 2021, bringing with him 30 years of contract furniture experience. In the last 20 years, John has been focused on educational and institutional customers who utilize the available public contracts. John’s role with McHugh will be to utilize his education/institutional knowledge to drive new business opportunities across all of McHugh’s divisions. In addition, he will lead the sales efforts for all of McHugh’s educational furniture opportunities.

Bryan Yutan

Bryan joined McHugh a year ago in February 2022. Bryan has been in the construction industry for 8 years as an estimator, working at a stone & tile company. Bryan started to work with the Loose Furniture Team that is run by Joanne Skinner & John Waiser. He is bringing his attention to detail and experience using Bluebeam & 2020 Giza to the team. Bryan’s drive to train and learn more about the loose furniture world makes him a great addition to the McHugh team

Paige Demaria

Marketing Specialist Intern

Paige started at McHugh in August 2023. She is a senior at Molloy University graduating in May 2024. She works on delivering the McHugh message of delivering quality products to our customers. Paige works mainly with HubSpot to create fun and interactive emails to help promote and sell products. She oversees all marketing operations while bringing new and inspiring ideas to the McHugh team.

Maggie MineHan

Project Accounting

Maggie joined the McHugh team to assist the project Accounting Department. She has over ten years of project support experience in both the public and private sectors, as well as a BA from the State University of New York at Albany. Maggie brings an enthusiastic attitude and a solid work ethic to the McHugh team.
